Gayeshwar Chandra Roy commented that there is no condition for any civilized people to live in the country

Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, a member of the Standing Committee of the BNP, commented as the chief guest at a human chain program organized by the Women and Children's Rights Forum in front of the National Press Club on Tuesday 6 February 2024 titled 'Where is the end of insults on women's society?' In today's situation, the world has realized that there is no living conditions for any civilized people in this country. They (Awami League) are pushing us towards a barbaric nation. The youth of this country gave their blood in this language month. And today a woman donated blood for a young man in Jahangirnagar. So I think the situation in Bangladesh is similar today.

Gayeshwar Chandra protested the killings at the border and said that today the soldiers escaped from Rakhine and took refuge in Bangladesh. Again, the people of this country were injured and killed by the bombs thrown by them. I don't know what this is a sign of. BSF shot dead so many people, you did not take any action against it. He didn't even protest. Earlier when there was BDR, one shot from BSF would be retaliated by ten shots from Apar. But now instead of protesting, he eats breakfast together with them.

He said, when the Law Minister said that Sagar Rooney's murder case will not be decided even in 50 years, then is it our responsibility not to keep this government in power for even 50 days? No one in this country will be safe if they are kept in power. Respect is far from it, there will be no chance to survive even with life.

Judiciary department can free people from this sad state of the country.

He also said that if the courts become blind and if the judiciary becomes paralyzed, and if the conscience of the judges is not awakened and they speak for the government only to serve, then the country's judiciary becomes tarnished. People have enough respect for the court. And if we want to get rid of such a situation in the country, then the judiciary can free people from this miserable condition.

BNP's national standing committee member Selima Rahman presided over the human chain. Moderated by Dhaka District BNP General Secretary Advocate Nipun Roy Chowdhury. BNP Vice Chairman Md. also spoke at this time. Shahjahan, Abdul Awal Mintu, journalist leader Ruhul Amin Ghazi, journalist leader Quader Gani Chowdhury, BNP central self-reliance co-editor Shirin Sultana, Nilofar Chowdhury Moni, co-editor Taiful Islam Tipu, executive committee member Abu Nasser Muhammad Rahmatullah and others.
