According to the sources of District Agriculture Extension Directorate, it is possible to profit by cultivating colored cauliflower with less cost and less effort. This copy can be sold within 70-80 days of planting. Each copy weighs about two kilograms. Organic fertilizers and pheromone traps are used instead of chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
Apart from this, colored cauliflower is more nutritious than white cauliflower. The demand in the market is also high. This beautiful looking copy can be eaten half boiled. Upazila agriculture department hopes that colorful cauliflower cultivation will increase a lot in the future.
