After 22 years in Chittagong city, RAB arrested a fugitive accused under warrant. His name is Md. Salah Uddin (48). He is a resident of Domkhali village of Mirsarai police station.
This information was revealed in a statement sent by RAB's media wing on Thursday (February 8) night.
RAB-7 arrested him from Kalurghat area of Chandgao police station in the city on Wednesday (February 7) afternoon. He was handed over to Mirsrai police station on Thursday.
Senior Assistant Director (Media) of RAB-7. Nurul Abshar told Kalbela that there are arrest warrants against Salauddin in two cases of Mirsarai police station. He was hiding in different parts of the country for 22 years to avoid arrest. RAB arrested him from Kalurghat area after receiving secret information last Wednesday.
He also said that during the interrogation, he admitted to be an absconding accused in two cases.
