The upazila health department has announced temporary closure of 4 diagnostic centers in Domar of Nilphamari due to lack of registration and license.

On Wednesday (February 28) morning, an operation was conducted by the Upazila Health Department to close down unregistered and unlicensed institutions under the leadership of Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Raihan Bari in several private hospitals, diagnostic centers, clinics in the upazila city.

Due to lack of registration documents, Anshar Ali Diagnostic Center, Square Diagnostic Center, Trust Diagnostic Center and New Life Diagnostic Center in Boragari Bazar were temporarily closed.

In this regard, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Md. Raihan Bari said that the diagnostic centers have been temporarily closed due to lack of license and registration. The information of these institutions has been sent to the Civil Surgeon. Necessary final action will be taken later. Upazila Health Department's campaign to stop illegal clinics and diagnostic centers will continue.

Upazila Health Complex health inspector (in-charge) and sanitary inspector Md Al-Amin Rahman along with health department officials, employees and representatives were present in the campaign.
