Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) various crime and intelligence departments have arrested 31 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in the capital.
As part of DMP's regular anti-narcotics operation, they were arrested along with narcotics from 6 am on Sunday (February 4) to 6 am on Monday (February 5).
Meanwhile, 759 yaba, 232.1 grams of heroin and 36 kg of 600 grams of 200 pure ganja were recovered from them.
23 cases under the Narcotics Control Act have been registered against the 31 arrested persons.
