A girl died after being hit by an auto van while crossing the road in Kazipur

Limon Khan: Kazipur (Sirajganj) Correspondent A Madrasa student named Noorani was killed by an auto van while crossing the Kazipur to Sherpur highway in Sirajganj. She is Noorani Khatun (7), daughter of Nannu Mia, a college ward of Chalidadanga Union of Kazipur Upazila.

According to family sources, Nannu Mia, along with a son and a daughter, was being taken by his wife from home this morning to Sonamukhi Noorani Hafizia Madrasa for education. On the west side of Chalidadanga Mohammad Nasin Women's College, Asha was crossing the road when an auto van ran over him. It seriously injured his chest. His relatives rushed him to a private hospital in Bogra's Dhunte for medical treatment, where the doctor on duty declared him brought dead.

Shahidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kazipur Police Station, said, "I have heard the matter, but no written complaint has been received."
