One person was arrested with one kilogram seven hundred grams of ganja in Lohagara, Narail. A drug dealer named Rafiqul Islam (39) involved in drug trade has been arrested by the Lohagra police station of Narail district. The arrested Rafiqul Islam (39) is the son of deceased Razzak Molya of Mangalpur village under Lohagara police station of Narail district. Ujjal Roy, Narail district representative, said that he was arrested on Tuesday night (February 27) in front of Niamat's tea shop adjacent to Baradia Bazar of No. 8 Dighlia Union under Lohagara police station of Narail district. On the basis of secret information, under the supervision of Lohagara police station officer in-charge Kanchan Kumar Roy, SI (retd) Suman Howladar and SI (retd) Mir Alamgir Hossain with the joint force arrested Rafiqul Islam (39). At that time, one kilogram seven hundred grams of ganja was seized from the arrested accused. In this regard, a case has been filed under the Narcotics Control Act at Lohagarh police station. The accused has been produced before the learned Court. Officer in-charge of Lohagarh police station Kanchan Kumar Roy said that under the direction of Narail District Police Superintendent Mohd Mehdi Hasan, the district police is working sincerely to make Narail drug-free.
