He made this comment at a press briefing organized at the political office of the Awami League President in Dhanmondi on Friday (January 19). Obaidul Quader said that Sheikh Hasina has proved that an election is possible under an elected government. If BNP had participated in this election, the election would have been more competitive. However, even in their absence, the election voters were not empty and uncontested. The Minister of Roads and Bridges said that even after the election, the identified evil forces under the leadership of BNP are trying to make the election controversial. There was domestic and foreign inaction to put an unelected person in power in an undemocratic manner. It cannot be said that it is not there now.
