The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan said that Pakistan launched a counterattack with less than 48 hours to respond to Iran's missile attack. The attack was carried out in Iran's Sistan-Baluchistan province on Thursday. At least 9 people were killed in this incident, according to Iranian state media.
The target of this attack conducted by Pakistan was the location and establishment of several terrorist groups located in the city of Saravan in the province of Sistan and Balochistan. Mainly Pakistan carried out these attacks on the bases of Baloch separatist groups - Balochistan Liberation Front and Balochistan Liberation Army.
Iran said three women and four children were among the dead. On the other hand, Pakistan claims that members of the terrorist group were killed in their attack.
Earlier, Iran attacked Pakistan's Balochistan on Tuesday. Two children were killed and several were injured in the attack. The attack caused extreme diplomatic tension between the two countries. In addition to the withdrawal of their own ambassador from Iran, the Iranian ambassador assigned to the country has also been asked not to return to Islamabad for the time being. Meanwhile, the US has condemned recent Iranian attacks in Pakistan, Iraq and Syria.
