Md Rana (30), son of Md Khalek, the main leader of Kishore gang of Kushtia district, and another unidentified person, including Md Roni (25), son of meat trader Nizam, were riding a motorcycle in front of Chapra Tothor fish farm in Chapra union of Kumarkhali police station, Kushtia district. When I was told to stop, I stood there. As soon as I stopped, they started killing, punching, kicking me and trying to get me off the motorcycle. When I didn't want to get off the motorcycle, Md. Rana, the leader of the juvenile gang, hit me with a brick on the road. In fact, I fell off the motorcycle due to which the impact of the brick did not hit my body anywhere. After getting out of the car, they put a knife to my throat and threatened me to keep quiet. They said if I screamed, they would kill me.
They left with my damaged motorcycle along with Tk 20000/= (twenty thousand) to pay the installment of my motorcycle. When I told the matter to his family and the honorable people of the village, they promised me to solve it by meeting with his family. During the campaign and meeting, yesterday 28/12/23 could not sit on the matter, on Friday 29/12/23 at 09:00 am Bhandara sat in the market with his family even after several calls to Kishore gang leader Md. Rana, if he did not appear there, Hon. Individuals went to his house but Md. Rana, the leader of Kishore gang, humiliated them. He did not comment on anyone. If his family did not take any responsibility to solve this problem, on Friday 29/12/23 at around 12 AM at Kumarkhali police station. A complaint was lodged. He has come to our house before and threatened us. We are minority Hindus, so the gang of Md. Rana threatened to kill my grandfather over the phone. So I am a Sanatan religious person with respect for law and order in the country. I appeal to the forces and honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for appropriate punishment by bringing the individuals involved in this incident under the law through proper investigation of the incident. Respecting the law of the land, my appeal to the law enforcement agencies is to humbly request you to save my family from the hands of Kishore Gang Md. Rana.
