Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader asked why BNP is carrying out non-cooperation program to prevent peaceful elections.
He raised this question at a regular briefing at the political office of the Awami League president in Dhanmondi on Monday (December 25).
In response to a question from the journalists, the general secretary of Awami League said, "We will invite many local and foreign people to publish our manifesto." But those who boycotted the election, why invite them? They lost that right. But those who are in favor of the election will get an invitation.
In response to another question, Quader said, "Those who are not coming, they can say why they are not coming to vote." We do not claim that everything is 100% perfect.
At that time, Obaidul Quader called Badiul Alam Mazumder, editor of Citizen for Good Governance (Sujan) as a special broker of BNP. He said, what Ruhul Kabir Rizvi (Senior Joint General Secretary of BNP) said, he also said the same.
