8 thousand 500 Ansar Battalion members have been deployed to maintain law and order in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections. They have been deployed as a striking force. This information was informed through a press release on Saturday (December 30).
According to the notification, they have been deployed across the country since Friday (December 29). 250 platoons will serve in 750 sections as election striking force until January 13.
During the election, the Ansar Battalion members will act as mobile/striking/striking reserve force under the command of the Executive Magistrate as planned by the Returning Officer.
One thousand 151 platoon of BGB has been deployed across the country including the capital to maintain peace and order during the election on Friday. Apart from this, Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been deployed across the country including the capital to maintain peace and order for free, fair and peaceful events.
