20,000 rupees reward will be given to those who vandalized cars and arsonists in the name of hartal blockade under the initiative of KMP

 

In a notification sent by Khulna Metropolitan Police-KMP to the media on Wednesday evening, 8 November 2023, it was informed that those who vandalized cars and arsonists in the name of strike blockade will be given a reward of Tk 20,000 only if they are handed over with proper evidence.

According to the notification, those who are terrorists, vandals, causing damage to people's lives and property and arson are harming the country and the nation. They are enemies of the country and the nation. Destruction of government property is a punishable offense under common law. The police headquarters has already announced a reward for providing information in such crimes. A cash reward of Tk 20,000 has been announced to every person who provides information about vandals along with suitable evidence in case of car arson or vandalism.

On behalf of the Khulna Metropolitan Police Commissioner, a cash reward of 20,000 taka will be given if the arson-terrorist and vandalist can be caught or if they can provide specific information about it. In this case, the identity of the informant will be kept confidential, he confirmed.

The statement also said that if you call the duty officer of the nearest police station and the National Emergency Service-999, the police will immediately come to your safety and appropriate measures will be taken to bring the vandals under the law.
