Tiger captain Shakib-Al Hasan in hospital

Shakib Al Hasan, the captain of the Bangladesh team, left the field during the match between Bangladesh and New Zealand at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Friday, October 13. Shakib's leg muscles are strained while batting. Shakib went to the hospital for a scan because of that problem. As Shakib was not there, Bangladesh team vice-captain and batsman Nazmul Hossain Shanto came to the presentation after the match and commented about Shakib's scan and said, "Shakib has gone to the hospital for a scan. After the report comes, his next condition will be known as to what kind of problem Shakib is having. The batsman has naturally explained another loss of the team due to Shakib's absence. Referring to the batting failure, Shanto said 'We didn't bat well, we didn't get off to a good start which is why we lost against New Zealand.

Shanto also said that Shakib's muscles were strained during his batting innings. Still, Shakibal Hasan wanted to bat in an aggressive manner to change the pace of the match. Although he was somewhat successful in this, he could not extend the innings due to an injury. Although he came to bowl earlier and got a wicket, he bowled himself early. He finished the quota. The Tiger skipper left his familiar place of fielding and stood at slip.
