Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that we do not want anyone to destroy the current development of Bangladesh

 

Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in her speech as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of 150 bridges, 14 overpasses, automatic motor vehicle fitness test center under the Tejgaon road transport and highway department on Thursday, October 19, she said that we do not want anyone to destroy the current development of Bangladesh.

At that time, the Prime Minister said about the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections, BNP now talks about elections under a free, fair, impartial and caretaker government. Now I don't want to make any criticism about the 12th national election of the country. All the words and actions of BNP are destructive. In this regard, I will warn the common people of the country at all levels and request everyone to protect the ongoing development. We don't want that to destroy today's development.

He also said that since the Awami League government came to power in 2009, we have been able to present the country to the world by working with the goals and efforts of how to develop the entire Bangladesh.

While talking about the training of all the drivers of the country, the Prime Minister said that the competition of abnormal speed and overtaking of those who drive buses-trucks-cars must be stopped first. For this reason, in addition to training the drivers well, so that the bus and truck drivers and passengers can take a rest if they feel uncomfortable, I have asked them to make restrooms. It has already been done in a few places, we will do more gradually.Urging all the transport owners to be aware of the drivers, the Prime Minister said that the driver is a human being, he also needs rest. Whether the driver was able to eat food properly, whether there is pretrol in the car, whether there is any problem with the vehicle, everything should be looked at.

The Prime Minister also said about the drivers, I am in the government, I drive in government cars. When I used to ride in my private car, first of all I would arrange the driver's food, rest. But during the election, something was not right. I used to sit in the front seat, give oranges or biscuits to the driver in my hand and say, you keep eating, your petrol should be fine, your head should be fine. If we take care of the drivers in this way, hopefully many will be saved from accidents. He said to the driver-owners, if we follow the rules, our lives will be beautiful, and our pedestrians will also be safe.

Regarding BNP-Jamaat, Sheikh Hasina also said that there is no problem whether BNP-Jamaat is agitating. But if they want to set fire to the bus or those who set fire to the bus, we will immediately take the necessary action against them. We have no objection to protest without harming people, everyone has the right to protest in a free country. We also protested all our lives, then came to power. But the arson and burning movement cannot do this by harming people.
