The Honorable Prime Minister and his entourage landed at the London airport on a commercial flight of British Airways at 11:07 a.m. London local time on Saturday, September 30. Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Saida Muna, welcomed the Prime Minister and his aides at the Tasnim Airport during the landing. The British Airways BA-292 flight carrying the Prime Minister to London took off from Dullers International Airport in Washington DC at 11:45 pm local time on Friday, September 29.
Bangladeshi Ambassador to the United States Mohammad Imran and Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Mohammad Abdul Muhith saw off the Prime Minister from the Washington DC airport. Also present were Awami League President Dr. Siddiqur Rahman and General Secretary Abdus Salam Azad along with political figures from Metro United Nations Awami League.
During this four-day visit to London, the Prime Minister will hold a meeting with the high-ranking political leaders of London. During this visit, he will attend the reception given to Bangladeshi expatriates in London.
The Hon'ble Prime Minister left for New York on September 17 to attend the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Arrived in Washington DC from New York on September 23 to attend the General Assembly session from September 17 to 22 as well as high-level bilateral meetings.
Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will depart for Bangladesh from London Airport on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG-208) flight on October 3 at 8:35 London local time. On October 04 it will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:30 PM Bangladesh time.
