The National People's Party (NPP) is a political party in Bangladesh. The political party debuted on 19 July 2007 under the leadership of Shaukat Hussain Nilu, a former leader of the National Party.
The National People's Party political party has its head office in Dhaka and the election symbol of the NPP political party is the mango.
In an exchange meeting held at the party office in Narail's Kalia Upazila on October 6 Friday afternoon, National People's Party (NPP) Secretary General Md. Idris Chowdhury said that the NPP will contest 300 seats in the upcoming 12th National Parliament Election. NPP's office was inaugurated at Narail's Kalia Upazila and Naragati Police Station. At that time, the Secretary General of the National People's Party said, the chairman of our party, Salahuddin Chalu, has announced that the NPP and the Democracy Development Party will compete in 300 seats by participating in the upcoming 12th National Parliament elections. The office of the NPP was inaugurated in Narail 1 constituency to conduct the election activities. General Secretary of PP Md. Idris Chowdhury called upon the Election Commission of Bangladesh to take early steps to conduct free, fair, impartial and participatory elections.
Organized by the National People's Party (NPP), Kalia upazila was presided over by Narail district president Md. Monirul Islam. Central leaders exchanged views with local leaders in Lakshipur area of Lohagara upazila.
