Babar Azam's Pakistan were bowled out for 191 runs in 42.5 overs as India's bowlers failed to bat in a high-voltage match between the two arch-rivals in the 2023 ODI World Cup at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday, October 14. Apart from captain Babar Azam and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan, the other batsmen failed miserably against the Indian bowlers.
After losing the toss and batting, Pakistan was doing well in the beginning. The two openers of Pakistan, Abdullah Shafiq and Imam-ul-Haq. Another opener Imam-ul-Haq was dismissed for 36 runs by the left-handed opener Hardik.
Rizwan and Babar Azam scored 82 runs for the third wicket to bring the Pakistan team back into the match. When the team scored 155 runs, this batsman and captain of Pakistan Dalal got out with 29th fifty runs. After the departure of the captain Babar Azam, the Indian bowlers suddenly stormed the Pakistan team one after the other. The players of the Pakistan team were all out for 191 runs. Rizwan Bamurah was bowled for 49 runs. Everyone failed to reach double digits except Hasan Ali, the pacer of the Pakistan team. Bumrah, Siraj, Hardik, Kuldeep and Ravindra Jadeja were all out for 191 runs in 42.5 overs. Each of India's bowling killed the Pakistani players by taking two wickets.
