BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has given a 48-hour ultimatum demanding the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. Even in such a bad condition, there is no permission to send him out of the country for better treatment.

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital since August 9. She has to be treated in the critical unit from the cabin for the last four days. His doctor said his condition was very dire and advised to take him out of the country for better treatment.
