The Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP has reacted to the US visa ban on those who are obstructing the activities of establishing democracy, free and fair elections, and ensuring 100% voter turnout before the 12th National Assembly elections in Bangladesh.
On Friday, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller announced the imposition of the visa ban process in a statement to which Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Dal-BNP organizing secretary Shama Obahed was reacting.
Shama Obahed also said that in order to establish the twelfth national parliament election and democracy in Bangladesh, the United States has imposed sanctions on individuals who are obstructing the establishment of democracy in Bangladesh in the last three months. There is no suitable environment due to which America has started imposing visa ban again. This top leader also said that Bangladesh is under this ban because of the Awami League government.
On May 24, the US State Department imposed a visa ban on Bangladesh for the first time.
